Benefit from meeting with a skilled childbirth educator, doula and life coach, who can help individualize your birth and parenting preparation and help you make the best of the changes and choices you may be facing in your parenting journey.
Our time together, during private consultations (and during your birth), will enable a trusting partnership to develop, so you will have the support to navigate your birthing journey confidently. There is childbirth education intermingled during this process. We will cover such topics as:
Birth only package: 1 prenatal visit and birth attendance - Cost $650 From pregnancy through to motherhood – 9 x 1 hour consultations during the pre and post natal period, 2 weeks on call before your due date and attendance at your birth - Cost $ 1350 This package follows on from the 'birth preparation and labour support' package and will include a post birth debrief, a 3 month and 6 month visit to support your ongoing journey into motherhood. Coaching techniques and N.L.P are used more specifically at this stage in order to help you navigate the changes that have occured and the new goals you may now wish to explore. [top] Private Childbirth Education Consultation The opportunity to personalize your birth education and to ask any questions you like is a wonderful way of working towards a positive birth experience for yourself and your family. If you are near to your due date or have had children before and just want a refresher, this could also be well suited for you.
When overwhelmed, struggling or losing confidence at home with your baby, an extra pair of helping hands, guidance, information and a fresh perspective on a challenging situation can be just the support you need. I will attend your family at home to help with:
I offer an overnight stay at your home, if support is needed with baby care through the night and to help parents get a less interrupted night sleep.
Alongside a group facilitator, peer support groups create a time and space to share your knowledge, resources and life experiences with others. Strong bonds of friendship often grow from this and confidence as a mother can soar. The powerful act of telling your birth stories, listening to each other, passing on what you know and having a safe place to ask questions all help pregnant women and new mothers to find their feet and adjust more comfortably into the day to day realities of motherhood. Currently I am running a VBAC peer support group and would be happy to have other mothers or couples join in regardless of whether you have had a caesarean or not. [top] Post Natal DebriefAre you living with unanswered questions and confusion from a previous birth experience? Disempowerment, self-doubt and anger that can sometimes linger from a birth experience can stop you trusting your mothering skills and block your future birthing potential. I take the time to listen to your birth story, offer a perspective of the factors that may have influenced the birth outcome and provide tools to think afresh the potential you have within, helping you to learn from your experiences and make positive changes for your future - See fee for Private Consultation.
