VBAC Peer Support Group

Group meets every 2nd Monday of the month in Ringwood from 10-12pm. Cost is $15 on the day.

Have you had a caesarean birth? Are you now pregnant or wanting to be pregnant? And are you feeling challenged by the options/or lack thereof which you are presented with regarding the birth of your next child? There are a lot of conflicting opinions out there and a lot of deep personal feelings that impact your reality when you are considering a VBAC.

A great way to start processing some of your thoughts and feelings about how to go about this the best possible way is through peer group discuss and support. From the intimacy and privacy of my home you can meet with others in similar situations and share your birth stories, your options, your accomplishments, joys, ideas, struggles and solutions when you explore birthing again after a prior caesarean.

We have so much support to offer each other, so much information to pass on and so many new ideas to empower each other with, when women and partners listen, reflect, learn, meditate and share together in a safe environment.

I facilitate this 2 hr support group time so that everyone has the opportunity to speak, to ask questions and to offer ones own personal resources, skills, care and knowledge about VBAC to the group.

VBAC, just like any birth, needs to be factored into the context of your life journey as a whole. And VBAC is not always possible. So how will you know you have done the best you can? This is worth your time and effort to explore deeper. This peer group session is invaluable and will help to clarify just that and so much more. So that at the end of the day, when your baby is finally in your arms, with dreams realised or not, you can say "I did my best and i'm proud of myself".
